WALLENIUS SOL and BB Logistics have signed a long-term contract for the provision of warehousing services at the Port of Kemi from 1 January 2025. As part of the agreement, BB Logistics will operate a 12,000 m² warehouse, enabling WALLENIUS SOL to offer customers comprehensive warehousing solutions for their weekly route to Kemi.

During the modernization, the main and auxiliary engines, pumps, coolers, as well as steam and auxiliary boilers were repaired. Welding of the hull, replacement of pipelines, automation of systems and repair of electrical equipment were carried out.

Port of Rotterdam expands Container Exchange Route network.

One year after the launch of the Container Exchange Route (CER), the project is entering a new phase. In 2025, the Port of Rotterdam Authority will begin building new connections to Distripark Maasvlakte and the ECT Delta/Hutchison Ports Delta II terminals via a central gate system. Work will start at the beginning of the year and will be completed in stages by the end of 2025.
