The ASTRE Europe logistics network has expanded with the addition of its first member from the Republic of Ireland – the Dublin-based Toga Freight Group. The inclusion of this Irish operator strengthens the association’s position within the European market and grants members and their clients access to a strategically vital corridor, thereby enhancing connectivity with the British Isles.
The Toga Freight Group comprises Toga Freight Services, Toga Customs Services, as well as its Toga Freight UK and Irish Sea Logistics divisions. The company offers a comprehensive suite of services encompassing international transport, customs clearance, and groupage freight, while actively cultivating a partner network across Europe and establishing regular transport routes between continental nations.
ASTRE Europe notes that the admission of Toga Freight Group creates a more cohesive logistics network for shipments to and from Ireland, while also unlocking new opportunities for international groupage and project cargo operations – particularly for members based in the DACH region. An additional benefit will be access to digital services, collective purchasing initiatives, and operational tools designed to navigate the post-Brexit landscape and increasingly complex customs procedures.
