International air cargo companies are expanding their presence in Venezuela.

Amerijet International, Avianca Cargo, Cargojet Airways, DHL, and LATAM Cargo are expanding their operations in the Venezuelan market following a prolonged period of limited service. Starting in the spring of 2026, new air cargo connections to Caracas are being launched against the backdrop of a gradual normalization of air travel, growing trade, and increasing e-commerce volumes.

Among the new entrants is the U.S. cargo airline 7 Air, which has scheduled the launch of charter flights to Caracas for May 8, 2026. This move is viewed as a significant indicator of Venezuela’s gradual reintegration into international logistics chains, as well as growing interest in the country as a cargo hub facilitating flows between North and South America, as well as to destinations in the U.S. and the Caribbean region.

It is expected that the further expansion of route networks and increased flight frequencies will contribute to a revitalization of trade and logistics in the region, thereby reinforcing Caracas’s role as a key air cargo hub.
