KTZ Express will take part in the creation of an Agro-Industrial Park in the Almaty region.

On September 9, 2025, KTZ Express, together with Slavtrans-Service JSC and TLC Alatau LLP, signed a cooperation agreement on the implementation of the Agro-Industrial Park project in the Almaty region. The document was concluded within the framework of the International Multi-Industry Business Mission in the presence of the Governor of the Moscow Region and the Akim of the Almaty Region, which emphasizes the high level of significance of the initiative.

cargo-partner expands its air transportation network from the UK to 12 destinations.

International logistics operator cargo-partner, part of the NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS group, has announced the expansion of its air transportation network from the UK, adding 12 new routes to Asia, North America and Africa. Now the UK market will have direct access to key destinations such as Johannesburg, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Doha, Boston, Tokyo (Narita and Haneda), Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Taipei. With a guaranteed quota of seats with partner airlines, customers will be able to enjoy greater flexibility and control over their international shipments.

Port of Rijeka opens new container terminal Rijeka Gateway.

The first commercial container ship with a capacity of 15,000 TEU has docked at the new Rijeka Gateway terminal in the Port of Rijeka in Croatia, marking the start of its operations. The press conference held to mark the event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butkovic, Executive Director of the Port of Rijeka Denis Vukorepa and representatives of the concessionaire – APM Terminals and ENNA Group. The new terminal has the capacity to handle up to 650,000 TEU per year, and after the completion of the second stage, its capacity will exceed one million TEU.

ÖBB expands cargo terminal in Vienna by 44%.

Austrian rail operator ÖBB has begun the final expansion phase of the Vienna South freight hub, which will increase the terminal’s capacity by 44% from the current 380,000 to 547,000 TEU by the end of 2026. The hub, which has been in operation since 2016, handles intermodal cargo between road and rail and is located at a strategic intersection of the Pottendorf line, the S1 motorway and three pan-European rail corridors.

Port of Antwerp-Bruges strengthens rail connections to Europe and China.

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges is expanding its rail network with three new services, strengthening multimodal connections and increasing cargo flows. Since August 2025, the Swiss operator Schweizerzug (Swissterminal Group) has launched the Widnau Express service, which connects the Antwerp Gateway terminal with Frenkendorf three times a week and with Widnau twice a week. From Frenkendorf, cargo is sent along existing routes to Antwerp, Rotterdam and Genoa, providing fast and environmentally friendly access to major European ports.

HHLA launched the Blue Port anniversary project in Hamburg.

The logistics group HHLA has officially opened the Blue Port light installation, which has been painting the Port of Hamburg in blue tones every two years since 2008. This year, the project is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the company and symbolizes its international network. The official start was given in the evening with the participation of HHLA CEO Angela Titzrath, Hamburg Senator for Economic Affairs Melanie Leonhard and the artist Michael Batz.
