Construction has begun on a multimodal freight terminal in the northern French port city of Dunkirk, developed jointly by the Port of Dunkirk and Modalis Group. The project is estimated to cost €25 million, with commissioning scheduled for spring 2026. The new terminal will be part of a strategy to develop sustainable and intermodal transport in the region.

Temirzhol Zhondeu LLC is actively implementing a large-scale project to upgrade the Altynkol-Zhetygen railway line. Currently, the roadbed is almost completely completed, 67 switches, and over 30 kilometers of track and sleeper grid have been laid. The project is being implemented according to the approved schedule, with a phased organization of work and the concentration of resources on key sections.
The Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan (Kazlogistics), organized a meeting of the Road Transport Subcommittee of the Logistics and Transportation Committee of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Presidium. The international road transport community, led by KazATO President Makhsat Saktaganov, was represented separately, along with delegations from regional chambers of entrepreneurs from 15 regions of the country.

China COSCO Shipping Group has signed an agreement with China State Shipbuilding Corporation for the construction of 87 vessels valued at approximately RMB 50 billion, equivalent to approximately US$7.1 billion. Kombiverkehr plans a revised operational scheme for rail freight flows between Germany and Spain as the 2025/2026 timetable approaches. The company shifts toward two consolidation points: Ludwigshafen KTL on the German side and Barcelona Morrot in Spain. These will handle all loading units moving by rail on this corridor.
