Казахстан активно расширяет международные транспортные маршруты в рамках поручений Президента Касым-Жомарта Токаева. Особое внимание уделяется развитию Транскаспийского международного транспортного маршрута (ТМТМ), который становится ключевым звеном в обеспечении транзита между Азией и Европой.
Министр транспорта и инфраструктуры Турции Абдулкадир Уралоглу заявил, что Зангезурский коридор может принести 147,6 млрд лир (около 4,1 млрд евро) в течение следующих 30 лет. По его словам, по этому маршруту можно будет перевозить до 15 млн тонн грузов в год.
