DACHSER’s air and sea freight division is undergoing a significant expansion, introducing new fixed Less than Container Load (LCL) connections between the port of Rotterdam and various Asian ports with scheduled departure times. Since late 2023, DACHSER has been establishing weekly LCL export connections from Rotterdam to ports in Shanghai, Nhava Sheva, and Dubai, alongside LCL import connections from Shanghai and Shenzhen to Rotterdam. The company plans to further augment these LCL connections throughout 2024, utilizing its own consolidated containers for the service.

The new airline Bees Airlines from Romania has successfully carried out its first flights after receiving all the necessary certificates and permits to begin operations. According to data from Flightradar24, the company’s only aircraft, an Airbus A320, made several flights between Bucharest and Craiova between March 19 and March 25.

Kazakhstan and Neos, the Italian airline, have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration in the realm of air communications. HPC Hamburg Port Consulting (HPC), a subsidiary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), has secured the project coordination role for the “BSR Hydrogen Air Transport – Preparation of Baltic Sea Region Airports for Green Hydrogen” initiative through a European tender. This three-year EU-funded project focuses on preparing Baltic Sea Region airports for the utilization of gaseous hydrogen in small and regional aircraft and ground equipment, fostering stronger connections with existing aviation hubs.
