PSA Singapore and JTC increased transhipment at the Jurong Island terminal by more than 21%.

PSA Singapore, together with JTC Corporation and industry partners, achieved a new record at the Jurong Island Terminal (JIT), handling over 212,000 TEUs in 2025. Compared to last year, volumes increased by 21%, reflecting increased demand for efficient and sustainable logistics solutions for Singapore’s energy and chemical sectors. The terminal strengthens barge connections between Jurong Island and PSA’s mainland facilities in Tuas, Pasir Panjang, and Bran, ensuring seamless multimodal transport.

The Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia presented a corporate transformation plan to international partners.

Ukrzaliznytsia Supervisory Board Chairman Gepard Hafer announced the presentation of the company’s corporate transformation and management plan to representatives of international financial institutions and government agencies. The high-level seminar was organized by the World Bank with the participation of the IFC, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank, the European Commission, relevant Ukrainian ministries, the Parliamentary Committee on Transport, and the embassies of Switzerland and Austria.

DB Cargo has taken over full control of single wagon transport between Germany and Italy.

As of January 1, 2026, DB Cargo will assume full responsibility for single-car freight transport between Germany and Italy on the Mannheim-Chiasso route. Previously, transit on the Mannheim-Chiasso route was handled by external partners, but the entire process is now integrated into the company’s unified network. As Martin Brunner, Managing Director of DB Cargo Switzerland, noted, the plan is to operate up to 36 trains per week in each direction, with the Swiss subsidiary independently managing the key transit link of the group’s transalpine transport.

The heads of the railway administrations of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia discussed the development of the Middle Corridor in Ashgabat.

On February 10, 2026, a quadripartite meeting was held in Ashgabat with the participation of Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), part of AZCON Holding; Mammed Akmammedov, Minister of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan; Zufar Narzullaev, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Railways; and Lasha Abashidze, Director General of Georgian Railways. The parties discussed key areas of cooperation in the railway sector and prospects for joint development of the Middle Corridor as a strategic transit route in the region.

Kalmar sums up 2025: record orders, profit growth, and a focus on electrification.

2025 was a period of sustained growth for Kalmar amid geopolitical instability and trade tensions. The company demonstrated its ability to quickly adapt to new conditions, expanding its order book and improving profitability while strengthening its focus on a service-based business model and sustainable innovation. In the fourth quarter, order intake reached a record €511 million (+5%), while the backlog increased to €977 million. Sales increased 11% to €487 million, with comparable operating profit reaching €60.5 million, a margin of 12.4%. By the end of the year, net debt was reduced to €5 million, and the leverage ratio to 0.0, significantly below the company’s long-term target.

FL Technics has completed the acquisition of Job Air Technic and strengthened its position in Central Europe.

Global aircraft maintenance and repair services provider FL Technics, part of the Avia Solutions Group, has completed the acquisition of Job Air Technic. The transaction, announced last year, was finalized after all required conditions were met. As a result, the Czech company officially joined the FL Technics global network.

DHL: Global container fleet growth to slow to 3% in 2026.

Global container fleet capacity will increase by approximately 3% in 2026, almost half the long-term average of approximately 6%. These figures are presented in the February Ocean Freight Market Update, prepared by DHL Global Forwarding. The company attributes the slowdown to port congestion and ongoing bypasses of the Suez Canal, which limit the effective supply of fleet in the market.
