Rail Cargo Group (RCG) has signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with the Italian Sona terminal near Verona. The partnership cements RCG as one of the key operators at the terminal and provides stable access to the capacity of the rapidly growing logistics hub.

Kazakhstan’s KTZ railway company has signed a loan agreement with the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Deutsche Bank for up to 480 million Swiss francs (about $595.5 million). The deal was organized with the support of the sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna, which fully owns KTZ.

The Klaipeda Port Authority has officially opened the call for applications for participation in the Southport project, the largest expansion programme in the history of the Lithuanian harbour. The project envisages the creation of about 100 hectares of new port territory and the construction of 1.3 km of berths, which will significantly increase cargo turnover and attract investment in modern production and logistics facilities.
